Bottle Brush

This bottle brush has never done very well.  

In fact, this is really BB II, with the first one dying from the cold last year.  I planted the first one when I made the side bed two years ago. and then I replaced it last April.

This one made it through the cold this year, but it always looks dried out and withered... until, that is, the last few days. It still looks dried out and withered to me, but it has these amazing burst flowers, that might just make up for everything else!
